Freelance website designers are always available - even when it's snowing...

I personally think that remote working is the future, recently I read a statistic suggesting that 8 million people are going to be working from home by 2012, well, lets hope they are not all freelance website designers...

Advanced availablility!
Freelancing from home is an absolute joy, I have everything I need at home, including a lovely fast connection that I don't have to share with anyone else and the option to work in my pyjamas if I wish. But why would a company or small business opt for a group of freelancers rather than a big flash company with their own offices and a plethera of account managers with large cars? The answer there is, I have no idea.

It's all about overheads

It's simple, being a freelance designer, working from home, means I have the opportunity to be very competitive on price, no large overheads, no employees to speak of and no large expenses bills to pay. From home I can be as flexible as I need to be. Online sale starts on a Saturday morning? No problem.

Fantasic Freelance Friends

So, how can I be as flexible as I claim to be? I don't claim to be an expert in all fields, and that is why I am lucky enough to have freelance help. It has taken over 5 years but I am lucky enough to have built up a top notch team of freelancers, including freelance developers, SEO/SEM masters, PPC developers and managers, flash developers and designers, online game developers, the list really is endless, some of these people are the best I have ever worked with and the best there are out there, believe me.
